Doctor headshots in Tampa • Physicians and practices
Doctor headshots in Tampa have a bigger job than most physicians expect. A patient choosing a doctor often decides in seconds whether the face in the photo looks like someone they can trust. I photograph physicians at my Ybor City studio or at your practice, and your retouched images arrive the same day.

Photographing Tampa physicians
First impressions
Patients read your photo before they read your credentials. A warm, relaxed expression tells them you will listen. A stiff or outdated photo suggests the opposite.
I coach you toward a small, natural smile and a steady look. Most physicians spend their day looking at charts and screens, not cameras, so I keep the session calm and show you results as we go.

Where it is used
Most doctors need one image in several places: a practice website, a hospital or group directory, Doximity, Healthgrades, LinkedIn, and conference bios. Some directories want a tight crop and others want a wider frame.
Tell me where the photo is going when you book, and I will deliver the sizes you need.
Wardrobe
Start with your employer or practice policy. Many hospital systems and groups have their own photo guidelines, and some want a white coat. Private practices often prefer a blazer or business attire. Scrubs are fine for some roles, but they rarely photograph as cleanly.
Bring two options, press them the night before, and take badges, lanyards, and pens out of your pockets. My guide on what to wear for a headshot covers colors and fit.

Whole practices
A practice website looks organized when every provider has the same lighting, backdrop, and framing. I bring a portable studio to your office, set up in about 10 by 15 feet with one outlet, and photograph each person in 7 to 10 minutes. I work around patient hours so the office keeps running.
When a new provider joins, I match the look at my studio later. Details are on my corporate headshots page.
Timing
Every two to three years is a good rule, or sooner if your look changes. Patients notice when a photo is clearly older than the person who walks into the exam room.
If you can, book on a lighter clinic day. A rushed morning shows on your face.

Good to know
It depends on where the photo will appear. A white coat suits hospital and specialty profiles. A blazer or business attire often works better for a private practice website. Bring both and I will shoot each.
One strong headshot can serve your practice site, Doximity, Healthgrades, and LinkedIn. If a hospital system needs specific dimensions, send me the specs and I will export to them.
About 50 minutes in my Ybor City studio. That includes time to look through the images with me and choose your favorites.
Yes. I bring the studio to your office and photograph each provider and staff member in 7 to 10 minutes, so everyone is done in one visit.
The same day. I retouch the images you choose and send them that day.
Book a session at my Ybor City studio, or ask about a photo day at your practice.
Pick a time
Choose a time before clinic, between shifts, or on a day off. Your hospital badge photo, practice website and Healthgrades profile can all use the same file.
Not ready to book?
