Lawyer headshots in Tampa • Ybor City studio
Lawyer headshots in Tampa should look like someone a client would trust with a hard problem. I photograph attorneys at my Ybor City studio, you see every frame on a big screen as I shoot, and your retouched images arrive the same day.

Photographing Tampa attorneys
Why it matters
Clients often look you up before they ever call. Your firm bio, your Avvo or Martindale profile, and your LinkedIn page all show your face first. A photo that looks dated or casual can quietly change how a prospective client sees your experience.
A good attorney headshot does two things at once. It tells people you are serious enough to handle their case, and it tells them you are someone they can talk to. Most lawyers lean too far toward stern, so I work on the second part.

Practice areas
A trial lawyer and an estate planning attorney do not need the same photo. Litigators usually look best with a direct, confident expression and a darker, more structured look. Family law, estate planning, and elder law often call for something warmer and softer.
Corporate and transactional attorneys tend to land in the middle: polished and approachable. Tell me your practice area when you book and I will plan the lighting and backdrop around it.
I work with attorneys across Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Clearwater, so a Pinellas County firm gets the same attention as a downtown Tampa firm.
Wardrobe
Wear what you would wear to meet a new client. A well-fitted dark suit or blazer, a solid shirt or blouse, and very little jewelry. Skip bold patterns, which can shimmer on camera.
Bring a second option in a different color, and a tie if you wear one. My guide on what to wear for a headshot covers color and fit in more detail.

Firm days
If you want your partners, associates, and staff to match, I can bring a portable studio to your conference room. I need about 10 by 15 feet and one outlet. Each person takes 7 to 10 minutes, and I schedule around hearings and client calls.
New associates can come to my studio later, and I match the lighting and backdrop from your firm day. See my corporate headshots page for how that works.
Where it is used
Your firm website, your Avvo and Martindale profiles, LinkedIn, speaker bios, bar association events, and press all use the same image. One strong photo across all of them builds recognition. Tell me where it is going and I will crop it for each place.

Good to know
About 50 minutes, one on one, in my Ybor City studio. That is enough time to warm up, try a couple of looks, and look through the images with me on the big screen. On a firm day at your office, each person takes 7 to 10 minutes.
The same day. You choose your favorites right after the session and I send the retouched files that day. For very large firms, it is 24 hours at the latest.
A little. A slight, natural smile with relaxed eyes reads as confident and approachable. If you are a litigator, I will also take a more serious frame so you have both.
Yes. I bring the studio to your office, photograph each person around their calendar, and keep the lighting and backdrop the same for everyone.
Yes. My studio is in Ybor City, a short drive from downtown Tampa, and I travel to offices around Tampa Bay, including St. Petersburg and Clearwater.

Pick a time
Pick a day that works around court dates and client meetings. One hour is plenty, and the retouched files reach you before the day ends.
